Meet our Certified Trainer
Kathryn Kelly
Kathryn apprenticed under a master trainer for 2 years and has been a certified AKC (American Kennel Club) evaluator since 2010. She has specialized in dog therapy training since 2016. Kathryn has owned her own dog daycare, boarding and training facility. She has trained and shown dogs for dock diving, obedience, and rally and field, in both AKC and UKC (United Kennel Club) competition.

Puppy Class:
$125
This is a 6 week class. Limited to 6 puppies.
In order to enroll, a puppy must be at least 16 weeks old and fully vaccinated.
Class time is 1 hour if 2 or more puppies are enrolled. If only one puppy, then class time is 30 minutes.
This class will introduce the following commands:
Sit
Down
Come
Wait at Doors
Look at me
Leave it
Leash work.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class:
$20
Includes review of all commands in the Puppy Class and Basic Obedience Class, plus all exercises that are on the CGC test
This is a single one-time class. Class time will vary. Class limit 6 dogs.
*Dogs must be spayed/neutered.
Therapy Assessment:
Free 20 minute evaluation for potential therapy dog
Therapy Assessment is a one-time class to identify any potential issues before being recommended and tested for certification. Class time may vary.

Therapy Dog Certification Test: $25 (non-refundable)
Basic Obedience Class: $125
This is a mandatory 6 week class that is a prerequisite to taking Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class/test, as well as for evaluation and testing for Therapy Dog certification.
Class time is 1 hour if 2 or more dogs are enrolled; if only one dog, then class time is 30 minutes. Class limit 6 dogs.

This class will reinforce commands introduced in Puppy Class and will add the following commands:
Stay
Loose Leash Heeling
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test:

Appearance and Grooming
Out For A Walk (Walking on a Loose Leash)
Walking Through A Crowd

Private training class
(30 min):
$20
We understand that some dogs and pet parents may need or prefer private dog training classes. Our private dog training services focus on your dog's precise needs.
If your dog has already taken a basic obedience class we need proof of a 6 week class. If your dog has already achieved CGC, then our trainer will need to retest to be sure they are ready. Retesting fee: $5
Requirements: Must be currently vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella. Proof of vaccination is requirement at start of class. Dogs must be spayed/neutered.
